Don't break the law. People think speeding hurts no one, however multiple people die a year from speeding. Flame away but it is the truth.

The average dumbass doesn't realize how slow you're supposed to go through there. I mean, the speed limit is far too low, but it's easy money for those that protect and serve. Cruise control is your friend in a situation like this.

Doing 90 on the interstate is one thing, going 45 mph on a four-lane boulevard with a grass median in the center is hardly life-endangering.

In deducing from this post that:

1. You have kids and you talk about them a lot.
2. You're an insufferable douche.

Exactly. 35 on that road is another reason why BR is such a joke to many.

No one in the history of time has died simply from "speeding" in a car. It may make an accident caused by bad driving worse, and it may make already bad drivers more dangerous, but a good driver can speed their whole life and never once have an accident.

It's not like my foot just slips on the gas pedal and...WHOOPS, I'm doing 40 in a 35. Some people have places to be, and don't feel like driving that damn slow through a non-school zone and non-residential street.

How many people have died because someone drove 40 instead of 35 on a 4 lane divided roadway?

So since the speed limit is now lower than before the construction, it is suddenly more dangerous to drive at the original speed limit of the road?

Lets be honest though

Yes, 35 is dumb speed limit. I remember when bluebonnet from nicholson to burbank opened. Not a damn thing there except a few houses (connected with an outlet street). It was 35, and a cop was there every day. Guess what? I didnt speed. Took me 56.3 extra seconds to go 35 instead of 45.

In fairness, it's been 35 forever.
