I live on beach road less than 10 miles from Flora Bama. I’ll be heading home to visit family in Louisiana that weekend to get away from the redneck trash fest that is known as Mullet Toss. The truck nuts and tramp stamps will be plentiful.

The Florabama died with Hurricane Ivan. What was rebuilt is nothing but a homogeneous tourist dump.

Question about the music.. is that something being blared over loud speakers for everyone or does each tent pretty much do their own thing like a football tailgate?

I am in for the 5th year in a row. It is nice to sit back and watch the debauchery unfold for those few days. The rest of my year is pretty straight laced.
