My point is who cares?
These kids had no intent of killing a pledge.
They drank too much, one died.
It's sad and tragic but it happens everyday and has happened thousands of times all over this country. I've been on both sides of it personally.
Do feel better about it now that you see these kids faces?

It is called mental impairment, you are expecting him to make a rational decision after he has crossed the threshold of being capable of doing so. Also if he was doing this at the instruction of people that would be considered to hold a position of power over him that is not considered free will.
