I was thinking it would run along Airline heading east, then north along airport access road, west along the north end of the airport near Veterans then south to new terminal?

I can't imagine the cost of that long of a route. But yes it would work.

The problem now is soil subsidence. This problem was suggested before thr first pile was knocked in. The sewerage line is failing due to this and the new taxiways are already sinking and cracking. At the current rate of progress it may be the end of 2020 before Mitch's vanity project opens.

Was this the architect/engineers failing? The contractors? Everyone?

It must be shocking to think that something in Kenner is sinking...

Probably will still be easier and cheaper to park at the hotel across the street and take their free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes.

But unless they have a secret passage, you still need to get onto property and to the terminal.

Yeah I have no idea how any of this will work.

Once you actually get to the airport it will be a huge upgrade. But getting there is the issue.

Yeah they run shuttles.
I mean better than economy for those mentioning the shuttle.

Airport access road should become a truck bypass for Williams.

Probably, but not much.

You still need to get from the interstate though the Loyola Vets intersection to get to the US Park, and then the shuttle still has to get you through that intersection a second time to get you to the terminal.

If there is going to be a choke point, it would be that intersection (I still don't think it will be as bad as people think).

FBOS are staying where they are.

Possible they could move to old terminal.

May be a restricted road, so they won't publish it.

A passgate restricted entrance to the terminal for shuttle busses (airport, off site parking, hotel, etc) would be one of the smarter ideas they have had lately.

Well... you can expect that to not happen.

They should have bought out and leveled most of that shite neighborhood around the new terminal.

There is a gate. Not on map because they closed it to the public.
