Well if your definition of National Crisis goes from existential crisis to whatever emotion any random Progressive politician is feeling on any random day, sure. If the benchmark of my Constitutional Rights are just how hungry For power Democrats happen to be today, I’ll accept your premise. But there will still be those of us that will demand you PROVE it and draw a line in the sand at the US Constitution. Otherwise, what’s the point of The Rule of Law, right?

Its just coincidence that the same group of posters always post any and all negative vaccine news.

This vaccine.

You're just guessing the rest. Have you ever asked one if they had any vaccines?

Yeah, Rog.

I didn't think I had to explain that context.

More intelligent people than you understand there are multiple issues with vaccine.

Sorry you are struggling here.

The next explosion will be around December/January.

They'll beg people to miss the holidays with their families.

The article shows they can quickly modify the vaccine to adjust for variants

Not for public use, which was always lumped in with that statement.

Having a shot that is geared toward a specific variant 8-12 months after that variant has come and largely gone is not the quickness that was being spouted the last several months.

So basically nothing has changed in 2 years. We shouldve just let this thing play out naturally.

There were people who said the same thing about WW II. That we shouldn’t intervene in Europe. There were people who said the same thing about the Spanish Flu. There are people today who feel like climate change is existential. Everything is debatable in a country where republican democracy exists. And it’s hard to prove shite until it hits so hard that it can’t be overlooked.

It’s not about progressive Democrats. It’s about people who are unwilling to yield their stance, not because it is objectively right or wrong, but because they want to feel righteous and they don’t want to feel like they had it incorrect. This is the point of Jonathan Haidt’s book, The Righteous Mind. It should be required reading for all high school juniors.

Its weird that everything has to be explained in detail on the OT. Just weird. I thought you people were computer friendly, I guess not.

-Not necessary for most kids
-Pregnant or lactating, may not be for them
-Certain illnesses, not compatible (Bells Palsy etc)
-Allergic to certain compounds
-You already have antibodies

The vaccine is safe for most adults, but not all.

Probably be done by now.

We're definitely prolonging it.

right?

like being told to clarify that a certain group of posters that start negative threads about the COVID vaccines only do it with the COVID vaccines

as if there has been lots of other vaccine discussion over the last year

Yet Codidiots still use the term "anti vaxxer." Almost like words have meaning, eh?

So you start with this
quote:

Remember when we were told how the mRNA vaccines could be quickly updated basically in real time to account for new variants. I member.

and then post this:
quote:

"We are currently testing Delta-optimized variants in clinical trials. They will form the basis for the booster vaccination for 2022. We are also trying out Delta plus Beta, the next mutation that scientists believe is likely."

That's not a "gotcha." What you posted shows that the pharmaceutical scientists are, in fact, updating the vaccine to account for new variants.

if they don't want to be called an "anti vaxxer", maybe don't repeat every anti vaxxer talking point

I agree with the vast majority of that, particularly people digging in. And I agree that “ things” are always up for debate. But the point I am making, is there is this pesky little thing called The Constitution that was specifically designed to limit what you broadly refer to as “ debatable “. Some things actually AREN’T debatable if you are governed by The Rule of Law. You actually can’t take away my God-given rights if you have the feels about Covid.
