Does not bother me at all but my question is how is this an essential service when many others such as dentists and optometrists can’t work?

I think we can safely let the lawn mowers keep mowing.

Yard maintenance is pretty essential. It's snake season, you don't want to step on a copperhead and take up a hospital room

You don’t see how someone putting their hands in and/or around your mouth and face is different than mowing grass which requires no close contact?
Also, grass being overgrown can be a health hazard as well. Rodents etc flock to overgrown grass.

Not mowing, but I’ve had a buddy with his own landscaping business do a few projects for us. Never saw him. Came and went while I was at work and he requested Venmo. Done.

It’s sun’s up blades down, not sun’s up toothbrushes down.

Exactly the thing I said was going to happen to some people in the thread I started yesterday. People working outside, in neighborhoods are going to get the "how is this essential service!?".

No it doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother you. Complaining about cutting grass at 7 am is the most snowflake millennial thing a non-millennial will ever do.

Also, state turfgrass organizations have been in touch with government leaders to make sure they fall into Essential Businesses.
Here is Ohio for example

"An official within the Governor’s office stated that if a business is adhering to the spirit of the order (aka social/physical distancing) and the job does not cause the possible spread of the virus and all safety precautions are taking place to not spread the virus, the work can still be done."
