And I’m a renter. Don’t stay in one play long enough to buy.
Just stay around Bluebonnet and don't deal with the traffic. Plenty of decent to nice complexes around there if you need an apartment. I work in that area too if you have a question about a specific complex.

I worked on Bluebonnet at I-10, lived off Government St. Traffic was never an issue.

Haha, my first apartment was El Cid, Southern side of the street. $375/month I think.

A biography of you would sell well.

The OT has a bunch of drama queens. Depending on your budget, look off of Bluebonnet, Jefferson Hwy, Perkins Rd area to start. If it sounds really cheap, keep looking.

Seems like many people live in Praieville now. I’d look there

Yes, you’ll see a nice house and then next door will be a run down trailer. That’s most of LP though.

Lots of flood mess for sure.

Good for you. We need all the transplants we can get to root out the natives. This board is the wrong place for advice tho. My advice is too find a good realtor and research yourself. Welcome!

Welcome to the hood.
Start your search at Perkins Rowe then branch out in concentric circles.
Plenty of choices in the whole area.

I’m familiar with Prairieville. You’ll want to look in the areas west of Airline Hwy along Hwy 73 and into the Dutchtown area (Geismar). These areas are close to I-10 and there’s a lot of nice areas and new development.
