Three years ago, I was working as a maintenance worker at the mall. I threw my keys down on the desk and said, "I quit." I have been working as a salesman for a local family owned flooring company since then. I have made more money then ever before in my life and now the next chapter has started.

A competitor has asked me to run a new store that he just opened. I get a profit share of every job that I sell and complete control over the store. This is the closest I can get before owning my own store. It will be sink or swim.

So you're just going to throw the family that gave you a chance when no one else would under the bus? Is that how you treat the people who are good to you?
