Something realistic from a movie? You do realize all movies are not real, right? Or, just watch a Netflix series, such as Narcos, for your realistic fix like the rest of us do.

Skimming through one of my local theater's offerings, looks like there's a pretty good mix right now. Sounds like you're just being a whiny little bitch because the universe didn't happen to revolve around you yesterday and give you exactly what you wanted.

For the record, I'm certainly not praising anything. I haven't seen any of the movies currently listed. When I say a good mix, I mean of subject matter and genre.

Compared to past years it’s a pretty bad lineup
I’ve seen four of the movies out right now and wouldn’t recommend any to be seen in theaters

First year I haven’t gone to the movies on Christmas in forever. Our tiny movie theater back home is independently owned and refuses to show most R movies.

I usually see a movie on Christmas day, but didn't this year. The wife and I went see Aquaman last Friday, so I guess that is close enough. We just moved to a new city and our closest relatives are about a 12 hour drive away. So we just slept in, watched Infinity War on Netflix, and cooked us a Christmas dinner.
