What interests me in this is that it mentions fatty liver. I am a 23 BMI so not considered over for my height and weight at all, but for some reason i get Fatty liver off and on. If there is something that can help with it, that would also help avoid down the road liver issues, i'd be interested in it. Not for losing weight though.

And lacking a sense of humor.

I wonder about the fatness of someone who spends os much time online decrying everyone else's fatness.

Magnesium is a beneficial vitamin for liver repair, and people with fatty liver disease are at high risk of magnesium deficiency. Intake of magnesium is associated with approximately 30% reduced odds of fatty liver disease. CNNM4 protein is a key regulator of magnesium in the liver and potential therapeutic target for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

I have NAFLD and a magnesium deficiency. So by this study, my deficiency should have helped me to not have NAFLD. It just doesn't make sense to me.

There is something, it’s called a good diet and exercise. Very limited sugars. Very simple

You’re thinking of the penis enlargement drug, now that will be a stock to buy before the FDA approval.

What’s your number currently at? I think anything up to 55 is good. Being under 100 isn’t horrible either. If your ALT # is high and AST is low it’s mostly from sugars that get stored as fat

55. But it is 10-12 points out of the range. I do realize some of these doctors try to scare a bit. Usually it is somewhere between 38-42. It spiked again on my last labs for my annual in May to 55 again.

Yes and no. The goal should to be as healthy as possible and avoid any type of medical intervention. But certain things go beyond a person's control (I am not saying that all fat people are helpless, but some surely are).

Once you get in a position that medical intervention is necessary, the goal changes. You should be looking the best medical intervention that has the fewest risks and least side effects. If you have diabetes and heart disease, then by all means, take these weight loss drugs.

I agree at face value, but these shots should really only be applied to maybe 2-5% of the population.

Then, of course, regardless of side effects (that are guaranteed to come, just like covid vax, this is all a lie), your life expectancy MAY increase. If you are morbidly obese (200 lbs overweight) the chances of you making it to 55 are not great. Then, PERHAPS you consider this.

That's not what's happening. What's happening is that 95% of the people taking these shots are just fricking lazy and only need minimal lifestyle changes over the course of a decent amount of time (less than one year) to lose the excess 20-40 lbs they have put on. This is treated like a shortcut and is told to everyone "no side effects ever", when they DO NOT KNOW, and if they do know, they are not being honest.

Pharma is never honest. Never. They do not have your best interest at heart. EVER. They are trying to make profit. Period. And people that applied that simple logic to covid are thankful that they never took that poison.

How many times in life do we have to be presented with the forbidden fruit until we realize it's too good to be true?

There are no shortcuts.

There’s nothing to worry about. I’ve had mine a lot higher and my doctor wasn’t concerned. He just told me to make sure you move around a good bit and eat more green veggies and good quality fish with my diet. Sugar and foods that turn into glucose are your enemies. It’s ok to have them but limit them. 50% of people walk around with fatty liver and don’t even know it. Keep your triglycerides low is key as well

The doctor put me on a low risk med called Rezdiffra for this. I was close to stage four liver disease which is cirrhosis. Between taking this medication and losing almost 90 pounds (the old fashioned way) It is below stage one in under a year. Yes I was the typical OT fatty before and them telling me that I was six months from cirrhosis scared me straight. Unfortunately they want me on this medication for another two years at least and maybe even for life.

Glad to see if straightened things out.

My numbers were in the 400s. Lost 84 pounds a few years ago, kept most of it off. But I take Milk Thistle and Turmeric every day since. Liver numbers normal. I am sure it helped that I cycle 100 miles a week, too, but I talked to a few liver patients in cirrhosis from drinking , and they both said it helped. I wasn't a drinker, and still dont drink. And of course you mileage may vary.

Concur with diet and frickin exercise, though.
