I mean yeah. Dressing up as a cowboy goes back to early childhood and the vast majority of children never step foot on a ranch. It's expected that you'll dress up in cowboy gear just like Mardi Gras expects you'll wear a costume. Most people that dress up for Mardi Gras never get on a float. Are they imposters too?

Wish the acts were better but outside of a couple of guys Country music ain't exactly a hotbed of quality acts these days outside of guys in their late 60s+

The cookoff is fun if you have access to tents, otherwise it isn't worth going.
