Besides, if we’re talking baseball then the real choice is Ruth. He fundamentally changed the game, was the cornerstone of the most successful franchise in baseball history (if not all sports), and was instrumental in introducing an entire generation to “America’s Pastime.”



It’d be hard to argue against Ed Viesturs - one of the most accomplished mountaineers in history.
