My wifes uncle was in one. Most of them work real jobs (construction/steel worker/etc) and just hang out/ride on weekends. He wasn't any type of badass. Probably 5'10 160lbs. He had some funny stories but seemed like most of the shite they did was petty crimes and bar fights. If I had to bet, his death ultimately would have been from an OD, but a traffic accident (not on a MC) got him first.

I've heard The Vipers are some pretty tough dudes.

that's the only reason they're dangerous. they're just rough looking gays on their own.
Worked in a pipe yard with a Maverick who thought he was big shite. He got in to it with a 5'4" guy and punked out bigtime since his biker buddies weren't there to have his back.

Many years ago, my wife's step-father was a Pagan. He is not a big guy but he is a badass. But he is very low key, long out of being in a motorcycle club, and disinterested in that life.
Twenty years ago, we were visiting the in-laws in Austin. The stepfather worked for UT. An old biking buddy of his arrived at the house one night, being chased by three big guys because the buddy had messed with one's girlfriend. They looked tough. The buddy runs in, explains what is going on, and my in law :"I don't have the time or inclination for this shite" and walks outside. I don't know what he said or if the other guys knew him, but they clearly wanted no part of him.
Dad liked him, and my Dad was like him in one way: Dad was usually the shortest Marine in every picture, but he made it through WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.

Next time this happens, you should inform them that they need to stay on their side of their territory, which ends at the Sabine River.
I know in the Shreveport area there's feeder clubs to Bandidos. But why can't they ride in Louisiana? I haven't seen any real 1% clubs here other than them.

Bandidos MC do have a chapter in Louisiana.
In fact they may be the most dominant club in the entire state.

I belong to "The Sons Of Arthritis " "The Ibuprofen Chapter"
It's a real thing, look up the clothing for sale on the internet. Best years were going to the ROT rally in Austin before covid. After covid, democrat fairies kicked meeting out of the venue that had been used for 25 years due to its adult nature.
At 75 I still ride my Harley, though my chapter is not very dangerous

The wife and I visited San Juan Island north of Seattle a few years ago. It was a spur of the moment thing and we found there were very few places to find an overnight accommodation once we got out there.
We finally located a six room, single-story Mom and Pop motel that looked ok and checked in. About 30 minutes later, all hell broke loose when six Hell's Angels pulled onto the lot on their Harleys and parked in front of the room next to ours. It happened that I was out getting stuff out of the back seat of our rental car when they came roaring in.
Seeing death as a possible option to ignoring them, I spoke. Turns out they were the nicest outlaw bikers I have ever met. We chatted about my accent, then Mississippi, then our plans for me to show the wife Ft. Lewis, which is located down the sound below Seattle, then military experiences, open sights on a .223 caliber weapon, bla, bla, bla.
They were somewhat quiet that night and still friendly when we all happened to leave at the same time the next day. The one who seemed to be the leader even shook my hand before they left. I said if they ever had the chance, they should visit Mississippi. They thought that was funny, in a biker gang laughing at you kind of way.

Used to frequent a bar that during the day time was a warlock bar and at night a college bar. Plenty of close calls throughout the years.
One group of guys ended up getting their asses kicked for running their mouths. It involved a hookah (idk why) and the warlocks beat them with it.

I used to think they were cool. But, a couple years ago I went to Lake Charles with a volunteer group after a Hurricane. We got to a lady’s house to help her clean up and I saw a Bandido’s motorcycle in here driveway. A couple hours later he came out and left. The lady toold me it was her boyfriend and they he was required by the club to ride for a certain amount of hours each month. I lost total respect as I was out sweating and cleaning up his girlfriends stuff while he was out riding his motorcycle.

Ridden my whole life. If you are just a regular person you have nothing to worry about from 1% clubs like the Bandits, HA, Pagans, Outlaws, Mongols etc. They have bigger fish to fry than messing with weekend bikers or regular folk.
The real problem is all the pop up clubs and idiots that watch SOA and make clubs and go out trying to start shite. Just look at the whole Waco shooting - all comes down to the Cossacks had a bunch of losers who they handed patches too that thought they had strength in numbers. The pop up clubs with no standards not only hassle people but they upset the balance when they get used by other big clubs. Also see the Iron Order starting the shooting at the Denver swap meet then getting out of it because half of them are cops. Same for the Jax Beach shooting.
Texas was a great place to ride when it was only Red and Gold.
