Don’t say you were not warned you thankless reprobates.

That woman carried you (or your kid(s)) (and/or your kid(s) for those of you from Arkansas or Ala-Bama) in her uterus for a long while.

Now go out there and make sure to get her something she’ll never use!

And a card. And no back talk, you here me?

Was in a CVS this past weekend and thought hey I have the prime pickings on a good Mother’s Day card instead Of waiting for the day before when it’s almost cleaned out from the last minute people like I usually do

Got her a “click n carry” grocery bang carrier from Amazon. Something I know she’ll use and getting her an Oatmeal raisin cookie cake . As she loves the cookies and won’t be expecting this as a sweet treat

I’ve stopped buying flowers for my wife on Mother’s Day and started taking her car to get cleaned instead. It’s the one time per year my wife gets her car cleaned, otherwise is a pig’s pen

Anna Maria Jarvis (May 1, 1864 – November 24, 1948) was the founder of Mother's Day in the United States. Her mother had frequently expressed a desire to establish such a holiday, and after her mother's death, Jarvis led the movement for the commemoration. However, as the years passed, Jarvis grew disenchanted with the growing commercialization of the observation (she herself did not profit from the day) and even attempted to have Mother's Day rescinded.

The one day of the year where it pays to have an overbearing MIL who thinks Mother's Day only pertains to her. I don't have to plan shite, just take my wife to an easy dinner, shut up, and listen to her vent about her mom.

It was the damned florists but she started that because she spent a shitload of money on white carnations in the first few years. She also wasn't the first one to push for a Mother's Day but was the most effective. Trying to cancel Mother's Day broke her in the end.

I'm the greatest gift my mother could have. Seeing me is the gift.
