It's OK to tell your kid or spouse "no" to aberrant, fricked up behavior.
Trying to imagine what my granddaddy or father would have said if their wives and sons had decided to "transition."
I'd maintain a relationship with the kid, but I'm grabbing a bottle of Makers, walking out the door, and never looking back at the spouse. I'd argue no community property split in the divorce since the wife is "gone," right?

They watched a trans documentary together which convinced them it was ok.
It is becuase of all the media attention, normalization instead of calling it a mental illness, which in most cases it is.
Making celebraties out of these people, championing them as brave, etc.
It is the attention they seek. and its no longer good enough to just be homosexual.
