Mother admits to tying her 9-year-old son to roof of car

Amber Schmunk, 28, was charged with second degree recklessly endangering safety after she allegedly told police that she had her 9-year-old son ride on the roof of her car to hold down a plastic pool that wouldn't fit inside the vehicle.
According to WTMJ-TV, Saukville police received a call on Saturday afternoon about a child riding on top of a car.
The caller told 911 that the mother eventually pulled over and took the boy and the pool off the roof. Police said Schmunk then continued driving, stopping at her sister's house.
When questioned by officers, Schmunk allegedly said that the pool was too big to fit inside the vehicle so she "decided to put the pool on top of the minivan, but had no way to strap it down."

So many ways one could go with this. The possibilities are endless. How else was she to get the pool home and he was strapped tightly down or the pool would have flown off. Not like she just threw him up there like my parents did and yelled hold on we gonna try to make this yellow light boy!. Probably grade A safety straps I would guess.
