$5000 playing 2/5 no limit at the Bellagio. Had bought in for $500 and stayed about dead even for 8hours. Went on a rush at 4:00 AM and walked out at 5:00AM with $5500 in my pocket. "the big game" was going on in Bobby's room right behind me. Doyle, Phil Ivey and a few others. Was an awesome night.

Was she playing less than max bet intentionally, or was she down to her last pull and was short of the max to bet? My wife does this all the time and I try to tell her NEVER play less than max. But I can never stop myself from playing short of max when that last coin or two is left over.

$4000 on a nickel slot when they used to have those. $1000 on a penny slot more recently. I've lost far more than that so I wont even pretend to be one of those who always wins or went once and won. I rarely go any more, save my trashy gambling for trashy cruises.

She was playing max for a while, but I think she was running low. I don't remember exactly, I was drunk

Guest of mine wife did this at a casino I was working at around 2008, except it was a Mega Bucks machine. She won around $500 or so instead of $8.5 million. She had credits in the machine too, so not like she was down to her last two dollars. Needless to say the guy was angry.
Always tell people play the max no matter what, if you don't have money for the max at dollars, play quarters or nickels.
