That's a pretty cool story. I've also heard the Alotian Club outside of Little Rock is extremely exlusive. Can't even get on the property and they only have 80 or so members. On any given day, one group may play.

Pebble. Course was a beast. But so beautiful. I doubt I'll ever play on a nicer course.

Winner. If only given one course for the rest of my life, I'd choose there.

Probably not the most prestigious but definitely the most beautiful was in Germany at the Eagles Nest in Salzburg. It was small but the scenery
was incredible.

I played TPC Sawgrass a few years back and that was a cool experience.

Next Monday I'll be playing the Newport Country Club, which is supposed to be amazing. Been a while since I've had a chance to play so I'm sure I'll have a terrible score, but I'll enjoy the great weather and surroundings regardless.

Bel Meadow Golf Club Course - Mount Claire, WV

Great Robert Trent Jones Course

I was going to play at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho about 15 years ago on a work trip, (the course has an awesome floating green on the lake)...but we rained out.

Play Torrey every year. Played south the day after Buick (now Farmers Ins) and they the course in tourney condition. Played out of my head and shot 91, birdied 17. I'm a 8.1.

Don't know if it's prestigious or not, but played Clandeboye Golf Club in Northern Ireland about two weeks ago. Nice links course....our foursome were the only ones on the course riding in carts, everyone else was walking. They were probably thinking we were a bunch of lazy Americans. LINK

Augusta - You get to play a round after you volunteer for the tournament.

This is why I am trying to get on the volunteer list (probably have a better chance of seeing a unicorn). A friend of mine's dad volunteered for the 25th straight year this past tournament, and they actually gave him tournament tickets for life. He is invited back every May to play the course.

Also, as a volunteer you get 2 tickets (I assume for your family to watch the tournament while you're working). So you can make some pretty good coin every year to pay for your volunteering trip.
