Is this the typical OT thread where posters progressively, inch by inch work their way up to claiming they've played perennial Grand Slam courses and shot scores that would have them in the hunt at a major on Sunday ?

St. Andrews Old Course
Carnoustie
Turnberry Ailsa
Royal Troon

Played some of the best golf of my life at these courses (except Carnoustie). I'm a 13 handicap and shot even par through 9 at the old course and royal troon. Would prefer to not talk about the back nines

Whistling Straits
Pebble Beach
Spyglass Hill
Spanish Bay
Kapalua Plantation Course

Not a huge golfer but all but one (Whistling Straits) was on the company's dime

EDIT: Forgot about Torrey Pines, have played both North & South many times

Colonial in Fort Worth

But I'm not much of a golfer. Cool experience though.

You should really play pacific dunes if at all possible. In my opinion it blows pebble away. Also...don't do Old Mac. F that course.
