Most of the teachers I know are crappy. Let’s change it to $200,000 fired on the spot

All the teachers I know are below average intelligence it seems. Let’s make it a high paying job but easily fireable. If it is a desirable job that smart prospects pursue hopefully general education will increase

Have your English teachers been fired yet?

You sound like a moron. Even your username suggests you favor the idiots.

So I assume you are unhappy with your child(rens) teacher at that?
If you have kids.

If you’re leaving your kids education up to teachers, you’re making a mistake.

frick you. I’ve had many wonderful teachers. I’m one and LOVE my job. It’s a pleasure to wake up everyday and teach students who don’t have anyone positive in their lives.

I’m a teacher, and I guarantee that I’m smarter than you.

If teachers made $200k and were at will employees then those positions would all basically become political appointees.
Guess what, they aren't going to fire the sister of a state Senator just because she is a low IQ teacher.

Most of the parents are worse. They don’t instill any responsibility, appreciation, or respect in their kids for education or adults.

I agree, teachers are the dumbest of the "educated" among us. Their entire life has been spent in a school environment, thus too many lack the ability to recognize the societal realities around them.
Almost all teachers are idiots. High school football coaches, science teachers, art, you name it.
But your logic is stupid. Based on value, worth, & competency, if we pay teachers $200,000 for nine months of "work," what's that going to do the fast food industry? What you're proposing would then give burger flippers a reasonable argument that they're worth $150k for 12 months of work since there isn't as much difference between the two industries & they'd like us to believe.

I think you have some misspelling issues here. You keep spelling politicians “T E A C H E R S”.
