These reports are all based on police reporting.
Many police departments falsify or don’t count crimes to make it appear less crime is happening for political reasons.
I’d take this with a grain of salt.

All of Michigan is pretty much like that.
Saginaw, Flint, are dangerous and black AF. Surrounding areas safe AF. Detroit suburbs for example are some of nations safest.

When many of their elderly neighbors began to pass away, the homes were bought up by a group that basically turned them into section 8 property.
