They are very comfortable but not what I’d call business casual. A good pair will last you a long time.

I mean I’d say Ferragamos are definitely business casual, but it’s all subjective in the grand scheme of things I guess

Cole Haan Zerogrand. Come in a lot of different styles and looks, but everyone is extremely comfortable.

Define business causal then. People in my office wear Ferragamos to court with a suit and tie. That’s not business casual.

I've been wearing Cole Hahns since college. Haven' had a reason to doubt them yet

You’re trying way too hard

Business casual is any clothing that isn’t a traditional suit and tie. Ferragamo is a designer brand that sells mostly business casual clothing and shoes. Just because you see people wearing Ferragamos with a traditional suit and tie doesn’t mean it isn’t a business casual brand

Trying way too hard for what?

Pretty sure you’re in the minority on this.

It took two pages. You're slipping, OT.

I agree on the Cole Haans & JM. Have a pair of both, but also have a pair of Born boots & they're very comfortable.

I don't get why everyone is just throwing out brands, as opposed to specific models of shoes. Nike makes golf shoes, running shoes, running shoes for fatties, running shoes for marathoners, walking shoes for old women, etc. Cole Hahn, has 37 separate Oxfords, in apparently eight or different models, for instance.
Not helpful.

Cole Haan Zerogrand.

I like the brogue, but that sole is absolutely disgusting looking.
Yes, I know you were the seemingly only person that mentioned a specific model, but I also know OT can't read.

I’ve never gotten more compliments on a pair of shoes before. Both men and women.

Rockport
This is in response to the specific question of “most comfortable business casual”. They make black rubber soled leather dressier type shoe. Super light weight, very comfortable, no real break in needed. I can wear them with jeans and golf shirt, or with a sport coat and tie. In a pinch I would wear them with a traditional business suit if necessary.

Rockport. Been wearing for years. Best most comfy shoe around. All around shoe too.

Both. Northern Europeans and Japanese would make fun of me, and I wouldn't feel classy at all. Even if I was wearing decent jeans, it's still a wild dichotomy between fancy and trashy which does not work. Even if they're brogues, I consider that type of shoe upper to be sub-black tie formal, and not business casual. Putting brogues with a traditional sole on with jeans was kind of the signal that you were slumming it a bit but knew how to dress, because chicks look at shoes.
