If you haven't gotten anything in the mail, or had the cops come by to arrest you, it's probably ok.

Damn

One of the worst stories I heard was a grup that played for money. Friendly wagers I am sure. Well one guy had gone over the green and "found" his ball. Alerted the group that he found it. When they go to pull the flag he had actually holed out and lied about finding his ball

Playing behind a group of members who think they own the course. Came upon a fricking sixsome at Copper Mill that wouldn't let anyone play through and we're playing one shot at a time.

Asked the cart girl what was up and she said that they were members and always played like this. Slowing down the whole damn course.

I won't hesitate to just skip the hole and go right around those assholes. I cannot deal with slow play when there are open holes in front of a group.

The fans.

They get in the way, and make noise, and snap pictures way too much during our rounds.

My Pet Peeves:

1) Any Drink Girl who is not at least a 7
2) Old Marshals who are pissed at the world and think its their job to be assholes to everyone
3) Golf courses who schedule way too many tee times, thus making play super slow
4) Golf courses with bad sand or no sand in the bunkers
5) Crappy driving ranges

loud talkers (and dumbasses who celebrate a ten foot putt like they just won the Masters).

Unless you hole out from the fairway or hit an ace, your voice should not be heard by anyone not in your group.

With that said, being a single behind a 4-some of old timers that won't let you play thru as well.

This is #1 on my list followed closely at #2 by the group of young punks behind you that keeps hitting into you despite the fact you can't go any faster due to the old timers in front of you.

Just FYI a single doesn't have priority over a foursome. The foursome should let you play thru but if everyone is waiting on every shot it doesn't matter.

On #2 - if you start hitting their balls back at them and you're more accurate than they are, they'll stop.

I did that once a few years ago while playing Disney's Palm Course. And you're right, it does work.

A pissy and/Ill mannered drink girl. If the hot girl serving drinks is mean, I'm not going back to the course and probably calling into the clubhouse to complain. Seriously, drives me crazy.

The group that lolligags on the green and read/walk putts out that are 45 feet.

The guys that are trying to hit a wedge into the green and walk it off to examine a good landing target...

taylormade for releasing new clubs every 3 weeks.

I would agree, unless it's a Fri, Sat, & Sun, or really any day that is packed. You have no reasonable expectation as a single to be able to play through.
