Gravity is the result of mass and distance.

If they are of similar size and mass, then yes, they will have similar gravity.

Seems to me it would just fall slowly downward, base don the fact that the astronauts aren't floating away when they walk on the surface

What if you have a moon with less mass than the pen? Then the moon would fall into the pen, because of the pen's gravity.

Scruffy is right. The question implies an answer for all moons in the universe. There are cases where given bodies gravitational pulls might result in any of the answers A-C (think microgravity, to conceptualize).

Had the moon had no gravity, it would have been really hard for the rover not to take off when it hit a bump.

Gravity is a force of attraction relative to mass. so you an a pen have a gravitational pull toward each other but there isnt much mass so it doesnt come to you. where as the earth is so big it pulls you toward itself, creating what we know as Gravity.

The question does not contain adequate information. For example:

1) Is "dropping a pen" on the moon a clever euphemism for "dropping a deuce"?

2) Is the pen one of those astronaut pens that writes upside down (i.e. Is not influenced by gravity)?

3) Did Sir Isaac Newton ever visit the moon?
