This helps get rid of the mosquitoes that the dragonflies don't get...now if they could make one for ticks...that would be great.

5 gallon bucket (black/red/orange)
1/3 water
teaspoon of
Cover bucket overhead to keep rain water from getting in.
throw some leaf debris in bucket to make it a better mosquito habitat

Add some yeast and sugar ( tablespoon each ) & this combo creates CO2 that attracts mosquitoes to the honeypot trap, also a little Castile soap breaks the water’s surface tension = mosquitoes that can’t stand on water’s surface and drown

All of those mosquito/fly baits are great at attracting even more of the neighborhood pests that wouldn't have otherwise come in your yard.

They will come into your yard regardless but if you watched the video, he says not to put it up close to the house.

B vitamins supposedly give you a scent on your skin that helps repel them...beer does have B vitamins but...

Yes, beer contains B vitamins (such as B6, B12, riboflavin, folate, and niacin) because it is brewed from grains and yeast. However, alcohol largely counteracts these nutritional benefits. For this reason, experts recommend drinking nonalcoholic beers to absorb the vitamins.
