I'm surprised accidents like this don't happen more. People wait til the very last chance to get in the right lane before their exit all the damn time. A combination of drivers having absolutely no foresight and sometimes willing to risk it all trying to get just one or two cars ahead. All the time on my commute home I see people pass up a chance to merge in a wide window to instead speed up and try to fit into the tightest of windows up ahead and cause people the slam on their brakes. Sometimes even going straight from the middle lane, and merge through the right lane directly onto the exit ramp. Occasionally you'll see someone even do this from the far left lane.

The moron stopping on the interstate happens pretty much every morning in BR, I-110 traffic got to hit that Washington St. exit at the base of the bridge.

about 8 months ago, i was on a 2 lane interstate between madison and gluckstadt and some idiot slammed on his breaks and put his vehicle in reverse to make the emergency vehicle turnaround. i was right behind them and it took some handy wheelwork to keep it from a complete scene of carnage.

Knew they would drive away and the back end got hit. I'm pretty sure someone knows the license plate number

Those occur often in New Orleans, but they are staged by plaintiff lawyers.

I hope they get caught by other highway cams

Drivers licenses should not be as easy as they are to get and they should be revoked for a period of time when you cause a wreck.

The most dangerous thing you do everyday is driving on our roads because of idiots.

This happens 50 times a day at Washington st exit
