This is true. I love my kids, but a lot of the time, I don't like them.
The only kids I like are my own..and sometimes that's even hard to do

One of my closest friends will text me about basic medical questions regarding her kids. Questions a nurse could easily answer, not anything complex of course.
that is medical advice
not kid advice

As a childless adult the most annoying is having parents tell me about their kids

Guy I know is on his fourth marriage and wants to give everyone marriage advice. I get him telling someone what “not to do” or but don’t give advice like you are some successful marriage counselor. I would rather have business advice from someone who has a successful business not from a guy who has gone bankrupt three times.
I agree on the childless part, but a great way to learn what it takes to make your marriage a success is to talk to those that have failed. Same in business I will take investment advice from someone that has made a million dollars or lost a million dollars, either would be valuable.

I have kids and 100% agree with that.

Both are equally annoying. I don't want advice from anyone who has no experience. I also don't want advice from anyone who failed at what they're trying to give advice about.

Kid advice is the most annoying. If you ain’t been there you don’t know shite. Especially when someone has MULTIPLE children. If you have 3 or more small children your life is just a daily struggle to survive until bedtime for like 20 years.
Equally annoying is someone who has multiple kids and then constantly bitches about the struggle of raising multiple kids. The resentment they have for adults who don't have children is off putting. It's comparable to someone stuck in a bad marriage that wants other married couples to be as miserable as them.

Marriage advice from a divorcee is invaluable. We know what doesn’t work.

Definitely better than advice about kids from someone who has never had any.
Posted on 1/9/18 at 11:36 am to fr33manator
Agreed, but their advice is often tainted and skewed by experience.
It's very hard for them to be objective on the failure of their marriage.

It's jealousy manifesting in resentment.

Oh, i’m Pretty damn objective on what factors caused my marriage to fail. I know it was fault on both ends.

I know, I intentionally put them rather than "y'all".
