Fumes from Ohio in the jet stream have made it all the way around the world and is now over central Mississippi.

Ton of brush fires around Louisiana and east Texas today. Wind out the south and west. Lot of smoke in the air.

Thank the west texas dust storm. Can hardly see downtown Houston the past few days

It is directly overhead on the Northshore of the Lake. I did not realize how hard it is to look directly overhead.

I always heard that was due to ice crystals in the upper atmosphere but that seems unlikely with the warm temps we've been having.

this was best I could get. kinda see it in lower right. Very visible IRL. Smoke sounds like the right idea.

Big brush fire near Hemphill, Tx today. Another big one near Alexandria. All that blowing right to OP in Central Mississippi.
