Monroe PD searching for local business owner on sexual battery warrant

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A Monroe business owner is being sought by police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to Monroe PD, 43-year-old Byron T. Bailey has an active warrant on a charge of sexual battery. Bailey is described as 6 feet tall and weighing around 235 pounds.
Bailey owns RoeLa Roaster coffee shop in Monroe.
Police are not releasing any other information at this time.
It’s a really cool coffee shop, neat atmosphere and great coffee. I hope nothing becomes of it and they stay open.

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A local coffee shop owner wanted on a charge of sexual battery has been arrested.
Monroe police arrested 43-year-old Byron T. Bailey, the owner of roeLa Roaster in downtown Monroe, after he allegedly sexually assaulted a waitress at a local business.
It's unclear at which business the incident took place, but according to a court document, the victim told police the incident happened on October 2nd, 2018. She says Bailey fondled her on two occasions while taking a child from her arms. She also says Bailey pointed to his phone number on her waitress pad, touched her lower back, and said, "Don't make me hunt you down, call me." Police say an independent eyewitness observed and heard this statement by Bailey. The incident was reported to police on October 8th.
According to the same document, an informant talked to police about the same incident on October 30th. The informant told police that Bailey admitted to the battery over the phone, saying, "I did what the letter said and I need to make this right." Police say Bailey was referring to a certified letter sent from an attorney which gave a brief description of Bailey's behavior on the premises and informed him he is no longer welcome there.
Bailey was arrested Monday morning and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center.

Yeah kind of a big stretch for sure. I wonder who's kid it was, and why twice in one setting.
The "dont have me hunt you down" part is a stretch too, but can/will be taken further than intended to prove her case.
