Lately we've been dodging bullets(literally), since the crime is outrageous! Everyday someones getting shot. Starting to look like chicago up here so they mayor wants to hire a consulting firm to figure out why crimes so bad lol. It's pretty obvious the problem

There are a few, but you don't want any part of that.

When I was in school there, it was The Mirage. The pole was a painted piece of PVC pipe and it looked like it was turning green. One look at those girls and you can understand why.

It is still there. That place runs the gauntlet on what their crowd is. When I first lived there, it was a cougar bar. Then it got cool for the college kids. Right before I graduated, it started going back more towards an older crowd.

I saw Quiet Riot play there in 2003. It was 2 hours of songs nobody knew before they got to their 2 hits.

Play at Calvert crossing in Calhoun. Really nice course and a lot of trees so it's great in the middle of summer. Don't waste your time going out to black bear. Used to be really nice but they haven't kept it up for shite recently. Greens are dead, dry, and sandy. Like others said Enoch's is pretty good. My cousin plays music there weekly pretty much. Pickle barrel has the best burger imo. Really not a lot to do around here at all. And when you go to Calvert talk to Don if he's in the pro shop. Nice guy and if you tell him you're from out of town and looking for places to play he will probably hook you up with a couple cheap rounds.

And not saying you are, but if you do drive drunk, don't drive down fricking Louisville

For golf head a little west to Calvert Crossing. If you are a member somewhere your local pro can get you on with a phone call and it's fairly decent.

Food has already been covered so I won't go there and for entertainment good luck.

Damn. Didn't know Don left. I've had chronic back pain the past couple years so haven't really been too much into the golf scene. And that was just my impression from looking at a couple holes off the interstate a few weeks ago.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but Trapp's on the river in West Monroe is a good place for a cold beer and good food.

If you're just going to the range, then Frenchmen's Bend is closer to you. If you want to get in a round then call Calvert and they will likely let you play on a weekday. Calvert in good shape and it is a challenging course.

Yeah if you can't hit your drive straight you better bring a lot of balls to Calvert. Conversely,I've found many a brand new ProV1's in those woods. If you're lucky, you might see Willie, Jase, and Si out there. Actually theres a really good chance you will at least see Jase

You must be thinking of Pine Hills. That course closed a couple of years ago. I think it's being developed for a subdivision currently.

Do you have a passion for meth and shitty radio stations? If so, you may have just found your Mecca.

You're right about the radio stations. They really f'n suck around here. 106.1 will play one good song then plan 7 shitty ones. I still have to keep it there though because at least I get a good song every now and then.
