China has a vaccine that has been given emergency authorization unfortunately use. Sounds like just their military but I’m not sure.

It's been a few weeks since I've read up on the vaccines but at that time it was reported their leader in the clubhouse had hit a snag.

Russia also already has a vaccine that is going out into use I think. Gee, I wonder if they followed all of the guidelines, and I wonder if they tested it on political prisoners or not

Without question.

It kind of leads back to Chernobyl.

The failings of communism let that disaster happen, but it also allowed for them to respond and contain it unlike any country on earth could.

Because they do not give a frick about human life and their people have very little in the way of rights, they were able to throw bodies at it indiscriminantly.

Same thing here for countries like China and Russia.

The Chinese company CanSino Biologics developed a vaccine based on an adenovirus called Ad5, in partnership with the Institute of Biology at the country’s Academy of Military Medical Sciences. In May, they published promising results from a Phase I safety trial, and in July they reported that their Phase II trials demonstrated the vaccine produced a strong immune response. In an unprecedented move, the Chinese military approved the vaccine on June 25 for a year as a “specially needed drug.” CanSino would not say whether vaccination would be mandatory or optional for soldiers.

Definitely a double edged sword because we don’t even know if we can trust their commi asses if they do produce a vaccine.

I’m really rooting for Moderna, Oxford, and the Australian one.

Yeah you’re right. That’s the one that Trump gave $2 billion to (CONFLICT OF INTEREST!!!!!!1!1!1). They’re the one that could potentially deliver 100 million doses by December.

For their vaccine to be used here in the US it would need to be approved by the FDA as well. So if they don't have the right amount or type of data, or if the trials were not appropriately controlled, it would never get approved.

The US will never use a Chinese or Russian vaccine.

We will use one of the vaccines being developed here, in the UK, or Australia.

The drugmaker announced Sunday it was awarded $472 million more via BARDA

So basically they are motivated to draw down federal dollars for development/trials and they get it whether they succeed or not? Nice.
