I was listening to my normal talk radio show on my way into work this morning and heard something similar to this thread. There was a trump rally in atlanta and the station was doing interviews with people who looked like they'd give a good sound clip. They interviewed one black guy who was wearing a BLM shirt and he said he loves everybody. "I support everybody man. Blacks, muslims, islam, we're all one ya know". Then just a few seconds later, he started into a tirade blasting another black guy who was there in support of trump. He said something like, "What would your parents think of this? How can a young black man like you support such a racist like that?"

The BLM people make me sick. They are the epitome of racists and it's like they're oblivious to it.

Last black guy who tried to toss this bullshite in my face found out that my parents are also conservative

He was dumbstruck. I was amused at his discomfort.

Because no matter what happens to anyone anywhere, blacks at a university have it worse.

I mean, I don't know how you get much more racist than this

“I was really nervous to get up here because there’s a lot of white people in the crowd,” an activist said. “That wasn’t a joke,”

This girl is going to be a pain in the arse for most likely quite a few companies over her lifetime. If I was a boss and saw "black lives matter activist", "community organizer",
Etc that resume would be going straight in the trash.

As frustrating as BLM is, I'm at least glad there are some folks in this world that can call them out on their foolishness.

I don't think Starbucks and Hot Topic are that picky.

What are you talking about? She's probably got a minority studies degree, she can easily find a job at one of the many minority studies firms on Wall Street.

I'm just surprised that after all this time, people who are part of BLM haven't realized that making scenes at vigils/memorials absolutely tarnish their cause. I know most of the people are sheep who are clueless as to how bad they look, but you'd think someone would get the word out that stuff like this crushes any chance they have of being taken somewhat seriously.

I mean, facts and logic make them hard to take seriously. Black people are far far more dangerous to each other than cops.

It's the Westboro Baptist approach. It's not about changing minds, it's about turning heads.

I'm not surprised at all.

These people probably read textbooks about how activists in the 60s fought for change. Protests, sit ins, marches, standing up for their belief in equality...those things actually MEANT something and they helped change race relations in this country. So these young millenial shitheads probably think "hey, let's carry on the tradition. WE can help change the future too!" What they don't realize is that their grandparents were fighting to eat in the same restaurants as white people and not be beat up in the streets based on their color, while the BLM crowd today is protesting over thug criminals being shot while breaking the law.

They simply don't get it. They aren't causing any change or helping their cause, they're just embarrassing themselves and creating a new generation of black people who think whitey is holding them down because we tell them how stupid they look.
