Looking forward to doing something cool for Aggiebelle. Idk what that cool thing will be just yet, because that would involve planning/romantic foresight (of which I have a dearth), but it will be kewl af when I figure it out

You might want to think about that. A black guy voluntarily giving up his DNA to the man? Be careful, all I'm saying.

Dilly, Dilly T-Bird....just be there for him and raise him to love all people. One day color may be an after-thought.

You might be surprised if you do.

You're like the dark twin version of my oldest cousin. It's pretty creepy how much you two look alike

He's a good 75% French, a little Irish, a little German, a little Cherokee, and I'm sure some moor from southern france back in the day.

Any of your grandparents French?

Hear hear

Then we humans will be human and just slide to the next "us vs. them" talking point. C'est la vie

Great grandfather on my mom's side was Irish, and my surname is German. Native American rumored on both sides but never have found out anything concrete. Haven't really done much research though.

So the resemblance actually does make a lot of sense. I always tell people "black is jist what shows up" when it comes to my ethnicity. I'm also probably the darkest skin tone of all my siblings. Definitely some funky genes swimming around

Two of my first cousins did. The biracial cousin that did came back with some pretty interesting results. She's only a 3rd West African

I got you fam....

I did some maths...or for the black half of your son..."quick maffs"

Slavery in what is now the USA lasted from 1619 to 1865. But since BHM is an American holiday we will say 1776-1865 (sorry colonial slaves). That means there were 89 years of the 241 total years of Americas life that slaves were around. SO thats 37% of the day (i.e. 9 hours....ironically a full "working" day) that the day should be spent celebrating his Black Excellence. But since he's only semi-excellent he should only spend 4 hours.

The other 20 hours must be spent making juice, dancing poorly, singing Mr. Brightside by The Killers, and generally ruling the world with a ruthlessly oppressive systematic vigor.

That is exactly what I was thinking. You are dark but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have more African ancestry than the average black American. I think you and your wife both have a pretty similar American Indian look, but maybe I am just crazy. My girlfriend has very pale skin but I can tell just by looking at her that she is American Indian. I can't tell from looking at myself in the mirror but I can tell when I try to grow a beard lol.
