I hope the crazies come out.

Shouldn't they be required to disclose a permit or the cost of the winning bid? Why all the secrecy?
Posted on 4/24/17 at 6:51 am to wizziko
Not sure of it is or isn't. They way it's being done though is shady as frick and reeks of pussification. Why not do it in the daylight? Only because they don't want anyone to see it happening.

Mitch and his family will need to go into the witness protection program. He needs to understand he's only going to be in office for a few more months. I'd be really concerned for me and my families safety if I were him.

Have we figured out who gave them the money

Somebody on the poli board posted that the Lee statue was down... that's not true is it?
Posted on 4/24/17 at 6:56 am to terd ferguson
I think only that Liberty one was taken down.

I don't see how the council can get away with this as well. Next round of elections I'm looking at a complete overhaul. Time to go trump on their arse.

I highly doubt it. That one will be the most difficult to take down. Also would be the one people will fight the most to keep up.

No.
ETA: you proved to us yesterday you're dumb as a box of rocks, don't embarrass yourself again today.

Over the unnecessary tension that's been caused every since he opened his mouth. This shite is stupid and a huge waste of tax dollars

Beauregard and Lee statues will see the most fight

As an official spokesman for Livingston Parish, we'd be glad to take all those racist statues off your hands. We could put them in our 'Muricah Park right next to the jet in Satsuma.

to racism. All we need to do now is take out all that Civil War stuff from school textbooks and we can live in harmony.

Wow.

Two flatbed trucks arrived just before 2:15 a.m., carrying equipment to haul away the monument. The name of the company on the trucks' sides was concealed by tape and cardboard. The workers wore black vests, yellow helmets and pieces of cloth to cover their faces, apparently to guard against identification.
Wow.
