I just feel bad for all of the out of state people that just won't understand why everyone here despises him with such a passion. And this is coming from a lifelong Dem.

In 2020 the statues will come home to roost.
Mitch was in it for the long game, nice move. The statues will get him into the party but Mitch is still a loser though, no way he gets even close to sniffing the nomination.
I do think he will go a bit further than Jindal did. Jindal was an abortion in the primaries.

If everyone paid any attention to his mayoral terms, everything he did was for an attempt at the presidency.
