Actually that sounds more like what a cop would do with their patrol car.
Regardless, no excuse for leaving a child inside for 4 mins, much less 4 hours.

I suppose the internal investigation found they are immune because of their badge.
Normal folks get jail.
I can't imagine the in car cam footage on that one. I bet the child suffered a horrible death. These officers should face a jury on this and spend their days in Gen Pop.

I am pretty sure she is going to be charged. She is in the hospital right now. I bet they are waiting for her to get out before they charge her. They don't want to pay for the hospital bill.
Her "friend" is married with children. I don't know if he knew or if it can be proven he knew the kid was in the car.
That police department also had a Lt arrested last year for having sex with a minor.
I hope she spends a LOT of time in jail.

These are the kind of idiots who should not be making life and death situations, aka cops.
See, it's often not a racial issue. It's an incompetence issue and we all can get behind fighting that. But the constant blaming race is diving this country is destroying us.
I recognize this is a white only tragedy but I'm just trying to show it's more about idiots with a badge in these very rare poor decision makings by authority figures.
I also recognize most of the shootings are justified but the ones that aren't are often not because of race! It's poor decision making or just idiots and it can affect us all.

Why were these cops meeting after their shift at his house? Why were they in there for hours? And how does the mom forget her kid in the police car?

I used to think that drowning was the worst way to die, but at least drowning is quick. Dying in a hot car is like getting slowly cooked... It can take hours, especially for an older child.
Besides active torture, I don't think that there is a worse or a more painful way to die.

Prime example of why if you're going to frick a side piece, frick a hot side piece. That way if she shows up and leaves her offspring in the car, you can at least get off quickly and she can get back to her child.

Most likely scenario? They met up after their shift to have a tea party (by a tea party I mean sex), she was most likely on going to have a quickie, then take her child home so she left the child in her car, but they were tired from the shift and fell asleep... 4 hours later... a child is dead...
