No mandates

It's almost like the measures of lockdowns and masks cause higher numbers.

Risk metric:
Government overreach risk > COVID risk

Because people in Mississippi aren’t getting tested.

Unlike the idiots in Louisiana that continue to keep getting tested.

What part of Ms are you in? We’ll be going to visit our daughter in a few weeks — will be interesting to see what gas stations/restaurants require on the way there.

And the idiotic president is begging states to make the mask mandates again if they took them away.

In our county it’s pretty much pre Covid setting. Feels good and completely different than what I experience around LA during the work week

Mandates cause people to gather in close proximity at home instead of spread out in public.

Lets be real. How many adults are going to bars like reggies where you are standing shoulder to shoulder waiting for a drink?

Maybe its just because I’m not trashy, but everywhere I’ve gone out since the college days, we sit a bar or at at a table

Gotta say, as much shite as MS catches, especially around here, they've been doing some stuff right lately. I've read some stuff about trying to get marijuana legalized, state income tax abolished, and they dropped mask mandates.

to MS.

Even if signs are posted (outside of Jackson) you can still go inside maskless. I live in Desoto County. Our sherriff came out and told the Governor that he wasn't going to enforce any mandates because it was unconstitutional.

Hospitalizations and ICU patients are also down. Can't hide those by not getting tested.

Citizen initiative to legalize medical marijuana. Lege tried to put a confusing alternative on the ballot but it didn't work.

In all seriousness, isn't it time to start asking whether the use of masks is making the pandemic worse? It sure as hell isn't helping.

As they are in most states including louisiana

Hospitals and ICU’ don’t always represent cases.
