. I just hate this for her and her family.

Why? It’s closure. They can say goodbye and know where she is. Far better than never finding her or thinking she’s been abducted.

Certainly would’ve been better if she’d have survived, but at this point it seemed pretty hopeless.

They still haven’t recovered the construction worker that fell into the river not long ago. So could be him too.

At 6 feet per second, if my math is correct, her body would be travelling about 4 miles per hour.

98.2 miles a day at that rate. Seems awfully high.

That occurred south of Reserve in January

It's 91 miles from the Bridge to Reserve...so it's doable

I heard she jumped upon finding out she was pregnant.

While I agree with your logic in the long run you have to see how devastating it is to hear your child is dead. Not only that- it's been a week. I wouldn't have given up hope yet personally.

Idk if you can ever truly get closure from a child's death but I feel terrible for her family either way.

Yeah, I got short with my post earlier because my lunch had just arrived. But I was half arse figuring it in my head and realized that obvious other forces needed to be taken into account because the math figured way too far.

Per WBRZ article, LE say the body they recovered appeared to have been in the river a while

Oh absolutely. I have nothing but sympathy for
Those close to the deceased. As for her parents, no I can’t begin to fathom how terrible it is.
But I do think it’s some small amount of comfort to know what happened and get some closure.

Shouldn't it have been pretty easy to distinguish if this was her body or not?

I may be an idiot and I have never seen a body in water for a week, but shouldn't it still have some resemblance to her?

Could also be my friend, Gunner Palmer, or his friend Zeb Hughes, the two guys who disappeared scouting for ducks in December

That's some serious dedication to abort a child
