Thank you. I'm going to set up a gofundme for his family to be able to afford stuff like this that can help find him. I haven't slept for more than an hour or two a night since I heard the news. I'm sick over this. Yall, if any of you had met him within the span of 15 minutes you'd understand why so many people are beside themselves with worry and grief. Brandon has such a gentle soul. He is the most country sounding black guy I've ever been friends with and I have black friends from Oak Grove lol. He's so funny. I spoke with a guy that runs a blood trail hound page on the phone about an hour ago and he gave me a lot of hope. I know he's still alive. I bet he's under a bridge off I-20 trying to stay out of the elements where he can have flowing water. He has to be okay. I've got a grade 2 sprained MCL on my left leg and a swollen dog bite on my right but tomorrow I'm going looking for my buddy and I'm gonna find him.

This is a very significant detail. What was he wearing when last seen?
Does he have a cell phone? To go very far at all, one must have a source of money…any credit cards or bank account?
Could he have caught a ride with a trucker at the loves?
Has a missing person’s report been filed with the police?
I realize you don’t know all of this, but I am trying to get as much detail as I can. I will be traveling across Mississippi tomorrow and don’t want to be tackling every black guy that talks with a country accent!

I hope your friend is found safe and unharmed, but you really should answer the question many have semi-posed regarding past drug use or mental issues. Information like that can be useful. Its not meant to be used as a reason not to care about your friends safety.

I'm sorry to tell you this but if someone wants to go missing the police department is not going to waste resources on finding them. Now if he has mental issues, drug abuse or suicidial ideations then things may be different and the police may help. In the end, if an adult wants to willingly go awol then it's not the job of the police to find them. It's that person's right to do so and not have the government looking for him because his family is sad. I'm sorry but yall need to be honest with the police. Is there mental illness/drug abuse history? If not no one is going to really look for him unless there is reason to believe sonething is wrong.

I know that he has used drugs in the past but don't know if he was currently on anything at the time this happened or in the weeks leading up to it. He's done upper drugs and smoked weed.
