One of my biggest pet peeves on the internet - Emmitt Till was a rapist just like his father. Carolyn Bryant never recanted her story. So many(if not all) of these civil rights era stories are complete bullshite.
In that sense, the Emmitt Till & Nolan Wells cases are exactly alike.

Just posting to say this:
Some of the more ignorant people I work with are buying into the hate propaganda.
Ive heard at least 2 older blacks loudly talking about how those white boys killed him. Even when a younger black tried to talk rationally to them, they then fixated about how they could at least saved him.
There's just no other option to them, it's all racism.
Disgusts me, and I did bring it up to admin; if it were reversed I'd be in HR being processed. But these folks are actively spewing hate without any repercussions
