THAAD is the best the us has got. The US problem is that it does not intercept hypersonic missiles. There are missile defense system in development that could do that but it is not fieldalble yet

We probably have satellites that can do it. I wouldn't worry about it. I've been through the path of totality.

Depending on the type of missile attack, the safest place to be would be near a large naval base. Most modern day warships have missile defense batteries.

Iron dome could easily be replicated in the USA, but our threat is not the same as theirs.

IBCS and other systems are designed to bring the multitude of different defense systems under one battle control. The combination approach that uses various radar systems with short, medium, and long range missile defense systems is going to be one of our primary systems

We have weapon systems that rival the shite in Star Wars. I know for a fact we have satellite based laser systems that can shot the beer out of your hand while you are driving your boat at 50 mph. Sorry I mean at least we had that 15-20 years ago.

The problem is that the military has no real value on human population or life, if you are protected by these systems is because you live by a refinery, pipeline, port, base etc that has some strategic significance. Israel does.

An ICBM from Moscow will be at your house in less than 30 minutes.

Guam is getting 30 sites. Word is there are get 3 different systems with the idea to outfit the east and west coast with the one they pick.

Currently only have the THAADs and that's probably be tough to take out an ICBM

The U.S. keeps enough SSBN’s on patrol to wipe any country that tries to lob missiles at us off the map. There’s also a command structure in place that’s airborne 24/7 to coordinate the U.S. response even if a devastating amount of enemy missiles hit home.

One often unspoken strategy for US missile defense against nuclear ICBMs is the use of friendly ICBMs detonated at high altitude/space

I don’t know if it ever went into production but in the late 80’s, my father was part of a team that developed and demonstrated a “particle beam gun” which accelerated positrons via magnets and shot them out like a cannon. Basically an open ended particle accelerator
