Maybe a good compromise might be a bottomless T-shirt competition where the T-shirt can come down to just cover the buttocks and contestants race to pick up $2.00 in dimes from the stage.

I don’t buy the argument that if you don’t watch it then why would you care anyway. This is reflective of our culture and at the moment our culture is fricked. Beauty is condemned while ugliness is elevated, and you can see this trend in everything from modern architecture to music to art.

Is it weird that as a kid I used to watch MA with my family (including the swimsuit competition) but have never watched it on my own?
I think my dad wanted to make sure the swimsuits caught my eye.
Oh well. Back to porn.

Reminds me of a conversation I inadvertently heard between my parents when I was 13. I had just bought a Cindy Crawford poster for my room. A short while later, I overheard my mom talking to my Dad about how she didn't like a poster of a half-naked woman hanging in my room.
My dad's response? "Well, at least we know he's not gay."
