The immaculate conception is that of Mary being free of original sin. It's not the time God came down from heaven to give it deeply to Mary.
People who mess up their mythology really grind my gears.

I missed where Mary avoided the taint of original sin despite being the seed of man. Now that is a miracle.
It is the belief of the Catholic Religion that in order to be the vessel that birthed the Son of God, you had to be free of Original Sin. Believe me, I don't care, but in the many years the Catholics have existed, they have a bible verse from everything from Limbo, Confession and Purgatory. Google, if interested.
I have now hung out with some Orthodox Jews. Their interpretation of the Old Testament is...

Catholics don’t need a bible passage. That is where you are wrong. Sola Scriptura is a reformation mantra

Lots of people frick up the 1st Amendment -
quote:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Some people don’t understand the meaning of the word “literally”
This is a good one. If someone is talking about something they did... like.. I don't know.. Got stopped by the cops.. And they say "I have literally been stopped by the cops literally a million times". I get they are trying to express the fact they have been stopped a lot, but just saying literally is stupid.

I've got one.
The Christian misconception that gay stuff is an abomination. That it can ruin a child in a family around that behavior. I mean, Jesus has 2 dads and he turned out alright.

You are arguing with an agnostic who grew up going to the Latin Mass. I don't care any more, just telling you "their" beliefs. If you want to argue with an old-school Catholic, I am giving you facts. Stop giving me shite.

Oh well then I leave you this: Christ died for sinners. Repent and believe. Take it from one with no claim to immaculate anything who knows the grace and mercy shown he does not deserve. Have a good evening

Hey Glass, people are missing out that most people mistake one thing for another and want to argue shite I don't care about.
Last time, for the commoners, the Immaculate Conception is Mary being born without original sin. No Jesus. That's it. Most of you get this wrong.

Not just the first amendment. Well most people only knows the first 2, but they only really know what people tell them.

Well, work with the cafeteria one's I do work with, eat bacon, but throw Judaism in your face every second. Know everything about the Old Testament and don't practice, but are obviously more intelligent than anyone, EVER.

Well presumable Jesus was also born without sin, so his conception could be called Immaculate Conception II or something like that
