I don't eat Miracle Whip or Cool Whip either. Both are disgusting.

Make mine Miracle Whip.
Bought MW by mistake about 40 years ago. Been using it ever since. Even converted some people over to MW.

But I really only like mayo with some horseradish mixed in.

Miracle Whip is an abomination.

Here is the mayo hierarchy:
Bama
Duke’s
Helman’s

I don't think I have ever even tasted Miracle Whip. To be honest I am not really sure what it exactly is. What is it a low grade Mayo?

Think of it as a sweeter immitation mayo. Pretty sure Kraft calls it a dressing because they can't legally call it mayo because of its ingredients

Both.

MW for tuna salad, cole slaw. Mayo for sandwiches.

The people I know are probably split. The mayo people are more outspoken and seem to HATE MW.

A friend of mine and I make a sauce that we put on grilled redfish and it is great for dipping shrimp and not bad with fried fish. The recipe came from his mother.

When we first started trying to make it ourselves years ago it was never just quite right. One weekend we tried and had had enough. He called his mom in Louisiana to find out what was missing or wrong.

I could only hear what he said but it was funny. He was like "WHAT, I thought we always hated MW and wouldn't eat it?" Turns out the brown sauce we had eaten all of our lives was made using miracle whip by a family that hates miracle whip. Go figure !!!

Will only eat Bama mayo and Bama grape jelly if mayo or jelly will be going on a sandwich.

Never seen Dukes where I live and dont know how prevalent Bama brand condiments are outside of Alabama.
