It's one of the dumbest things in the world because the people shitting on us are the in the generation responsible for how we are.
ITs a repeating cycle.. The Boomers were shat on constantly and have led America to an extreme level of irresponsibility at the national level.. As a Gen X member we see through their bullshite and need to join forces to clean it up... but good luck on that in todays hyper sensitive media and social media reality.

This is definitely true. Guilty as charged.
I am a late boomer / early Gen Xer, and my generation came up with new and creative ways to waste money, and we passed that skill on. We shocked our parents, too.

Millennials and Boomers have a lot in common in this regard.

Maybe when his balls finally drop and he grows up he can grow a real beard. Until then he needs to shave.

True. I read an article that some folks in Manhattan were having more kids as a sign of wealth. The most obvious sign you can afford multiple private school tuitions, etc.
Maybe there is hope we can breed enough to keep up.

That's like.... $100 a week. Maniacs.

The nerve of millennials. Wanting to spend some of their own money enjoying their lives when the weather is nice. Shameful.

My wife and I have well paying jobs and great healthcare, but live in a city where a 1200-1400 square foot house could cost $400k. And that's if you can get your order accepted because 10 other people put in offers likely above listing price. Lol good luck.

$100/ week is huge?

Yep that sums all of us up, grandpa.

The only thing incredible about $1,300 for summer socializing is how they keep their spending that low. I've spent a shitload more than that on socializing this summer, and we're still three weeks away from the end, as they define it.

ETA: They say $100 a week like that's some sort of ridiculous number. Do people not spend $100 a week on some form of socializing? Dining out, going to a bar, hanging out with friends for some sort of sporting event, etc...
Honestly, no. Not in other parts of the country especially in the Midwest. Those people are extremely antisocial, couch-potatoes and only eat out for special occasions like Valentines Day and birthdays(and places like Olive Garden at that
When we lived in Stank Loser, Misery if we asked a stranger a question they would look at us like we were begging them for money. My wife was once chastised because she said she likes to hang out on her front porch, being from Gentilly. They said, we only hang out on our back porch. I guess so they dont have to talk to their neighbors. fricking weirdos.
