I’d also contend the Millennial’s detachment from accountability.....even owning/mortgaging a home is scary to them because they would be on the hook for something.

Yeah. Keep renting Todd.

I assume there are people living in that house. Therefore they are middle-class

3+ wage earners? Jesus Christ do they all flip burgers for the clown?

That story reeks of bullshite. It's also not simply about the US, it includes 39 other socialist shitholes.

This is the thing that the older generations cover their ears and refuse to understand.

shite is more expensive today. Health insurance premiums alone for a family of 4 can easily blow up a budget.

You mean to be able to owe a bank $170k plus interest for the next 30 years?

What really shitty part of the country do you live at where you can buy a decent house not in the ghetto for $170k?

Getting shitty degrees and working at Starbucks or bar tending will squeeze you out of the middle class. But hey, win a seat in congress and you will instantly be in the upper class salary wise.

A lot of millennials graduated into the recession. They could be very pragmatic and chosen realistic fields of study, but still be several years behind because of that 2009-2013 job market.

A lot of those types are doing very well now.

I’m worried about the ones that almost seemed to voluntarily opt out of a good career path. They are going to be nightmares to deal with when they grow older.

bullshite. I heard the same complaints during the 1970s.

Laughable bullshite. Middle class enjoys far more these days than in days past. Most are far more mobile and have more choice in employment.

It feels everything is going up minus wages. However, you can't be jelly about not living in downtown New York. Plenty of small cities like Mobile, Boise, etc where you can grab a reasonable house or condo.

You realize there are millennials who are 38 years old right? You old fricks need to understand there’s a generation after us and that’s the one you don’t like (or really, don’t understand with the google and interwebs).

Anyone who is taught to suck on the govt tit will remain in poverty.

Millennials better snap out of their Democrat-induced socialist coma if the want to live above the level of “existence”.

....but, of course they won’t because they’re stupid.

Sorry but it’s the truth. Not a single thing wrong with an honest day’s work but people need to understand the relationship.

If a place has a really low cost of living....it’s cause no one wants to live there.
