complaining it was too cold out.

I mean, it was cold but not like subzero temps. Give me cold over hot and humid any day of the week. Especially on Halloween when it's supposed to be a little chilly.

I don't generally dress up for Halloween, but if some parent wants too, good for them. Most of the "matching" outfits I see are for parents that have kids that are too young for travel ball. Let them have fun.

Our neighborhood gets an insane amount of kids on the main street, and approx zero kids on the back streets (where I live), so I don't even bother staying home to hand out candy. Several families of us walked together last night, the kids a house or two ahead of the adults. I drank 3 of the new Gleason Tropical IPAs along the route and had a great time chatting with neighbors and others.

Self loathing millennials are worse than the boomers who do nothing but shite on millennials.

Dude this self-loathing that they've convinced millenials to do is weird. Y'all are worse than the white-guilt people apologizing for slavery.

I'm not self loathing. Just recognizing some basic facts.

It's no different than being a Baltimore Orioles fan.

Whats up with these parents dressing up in matching costumes as their kids and taking pictures for the facebook while trick or treating??

Its supposed to be about the kids not seeing how many likes you can get because you matched Bradynns outfit.

So you don't have kids.
Pretty sure my 8 and 6 year old enjoyed the wife and I dressing up with them. I sure as shite didn't do it for myself, or for social media.
I wonder who i would have done that for?

When your kids are young, you go with them. When they are older, you can stay home and give out the candy. Or you and the wife can take turns when they are younger staying home.

Oh and if both parents are out trick or treating who is at home giving out candy to the deserving children? When I was a kid dad took me out around the neighborhood and mom stayed home and passed out the candy.

Looks like the generation that is raised by millennials will be the weakest yet.

My wife (no pics) is a millennial. Our kids have traditional names that everyone can easily spell correctly on the first try. Last night I took the kids around the neighborhood trick or treating while my wife (no pics) handed out candy while wearing regular, everyday clothes, not in a costume.

It's ok, it's not your fault. You don't have to live like this, you've done nothing wrong.

I don't remember parents dressing up with their kids when I was that age? Anyone recall that?

Get it out, get it all out.... That's it. Just drop that weight off your shoulders. You're a person, not just a generational statistic. You can be anything you want. It's not your fault.

Aw man that does suck. I’m out of town but staying in an AirBnb in a pretty nice little neighborhood and the trick or treaters were everywhere. It was great to see.

Our neighborhood at home is huge but they don’t really seem to trick or treat for some reason.
