Whats up with these parents dressing up in matching costumes as their kids and taking pictures for the facebook while trick or treating??

Its supposed to be about the kids not seeing how many likes you can get because you matched Bradynns outfit.

Oh and if both parents are out trick or treating who is at home giving out candy to the deserving children? When I was a kid dad took me out around the neighborhood and mom stayed home and passed out the candy.

Looks like the generation that is raised by millennials will be the weakest yet.

So posting on social media is what makes memories now?
No wonder I cant remember anything from my childhood.

Woah my 14 month old and I wore matching red Adidas track suits as Chaz and Ari Tenenbaum. It was awesome and comfortable.

I will dress up with my kids as long as they let me. shite is fun.

When the day comes when they're too cool for it, I'll take a back seat.

I'm a 40 year old gen-x'er and if my kids wanted me to dress up with them, I'm dressing up with them.

You just hate social media period then. Because the whole point is to share fun stuff you're doing with family and friends in one place. I love scrolling through Instagram and seeing what my friends all over the country are doing for Halloween.

Maybe you should just get off social media?

Took my kids out last night to get their share of Halloween candy. I wore a Hockey jersey and mask while they had their own costumes.

My mother made a remark the other day that she said she misses seeing all of the little kids in their costumes so I invited her over for dinner and let her hand out candy.

Idk about all that but I was disappointed in the small amount of trick or treaters in our neighborhood last night because everybody complaining it was too cold out.

Get that outta here. It is one night out of the year, let them be kids. I don't have kids yet but I can't imagine not taking my kid trick or treating due to cold when I could just put extra clothes under there costume. People complain about everything.

When I was a kid we went as a group of kids. Brothers ,sisters, neighbors and no adults. We probably had two dozen or so as a group. We swarmed the neighborhood ( ours only ). No adults, they stayed home.

Our kid loves it, we just take the picture before we head out into the neighborhood. Then me and the Mrs. can get drunk while we collect the candy for him and he can stay home and play fortnite. Works out for everyone.
