However, there's never been a better time to be a man, women don't like the wusses.

Men should probably be more emotionally aware.

The suicide rate among younger males is skyrocketing. Women have convinced these men to ignore what it means to be a man, and they can't cope with it.

Now, emotion us undervalued, but it doesn't mean getting in touch with the feminine.

Not a bad idea to talk with a therapist. But an easier idea would be to just talk to your friends. I've gotten better at it and have found when I voice the bad shite going on in my life, my buddies are there to pick me up.

My mom battles addiction. She recently went missing. This was normally something that was the elephant in the room. I decided last time to just be honest with a couple buddies over a few beers as to how hard it is on me not knowing her whereabouts and how it is all consuming. They responded by planning a night out with all of our wives/girlfriends to get me out of the house and my mind off of it.

It's hilarious that their national sport is ice hockey which is one of the most macho sports played. Those canadian hockey players are tough as frick.

Financed themselves to death? Maybe a car and a house. Never had to or wanted to live with mommy once out of school. Not sure about the government debt, broseph.

i didn't say it was a bad idea one way or another. just thought it was a funny and on topic gif.

it sounds like you surround yourself with some very supportive and honest close friends, but not every male has that as i'm sure you are aware.

1. Their schooling costs less for the degree than 1 semester at state school costs now.
2. You're a dumbass. Consumer debt by Boomers and older Gen X is well documented, as well as millennials having less of it.

This has nothing to do with what I said. You are one person in a nearly half a billion person population. I know math is hard for most of you, but you not having debt doesn't mean that most of your peers don't.

That really is one of the dumbest arguments that anyone can make in a discussion like this.

No doubt, I have some good baws in my life. Not like we are all chatty about this stuff. None of us are good at that. But we know how to force someone off their arse and go out and find some distractions, for sure.

Nah it's more spiritual than material. Narcissism, existential crises, consumerism...
We are overdue a shift in consciousness. The superficial and negative overtones of modern society are unfulfilling. Younger people, particularly males are stuck in a whirlpool of a more rigid and angry society where unconformity is devalued. Plus the heavy hand of social engineering.

We will see a shift soon enough, back to nature, or dropping out of the rat race.
