Better question would be why they put chubbs on the right out there to meet the Pope. I mean I know a lot of Airmen are fat, but there are at least two that are in acceptable physical condition.

I don't know the first thing about military protocol. What are the rules on stuff like this? ARe there some branches that must look straight forward like the other guy in the picture, while others have more lax rules?
